“You know where it’s going,” broadcast boss says of summer hit.

ABC Entertainment Group president Paul Lee stopped short of renewing “Celebrity Family Feud” Tuesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Tuesday, but just barely.

“We haven’t formally picked it up, but we love it, so you know where it’s going,” Lee said when asked about the show during his executive session. He praised the show, saying host Steve Harvey “is having a party in primetime.

“Celebrity Family Feud” has been ABC’s highest rated show this summer. The finale July 26 drew a 2.0 Nielsen live-plus-same day rating among adults 18-49, leading its night.

“Celebrity Family Feud” is produced by FremantleMedia North America.
