In Support Of Rosalind Brewer

Recently, Sam's Club CEO, Rosalind Brewer made a few comments on her experience with higher level and executives. I applaud her for taking a stand for diversity. Not only that, she leads from the front by making sure that her team represents what she'd like to see in modern day America.

It's unfair that all groups have been nudged out of big business by companies and corporations. This woman is taking a stand, using her position to say

"Hey! We're here for everybody not just the big fat cats."

Walmart has been a great partner of mine in working together during the Neighborhood Awards, the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation and with the rollout of Harvey Farms. I think it's great that Walmart CEO, Doug McMillan is standing in support of the comments that she Rosalind made.

"For years, we've asked our suppliers to prioritize the talent and diversity of their sales teams calling on our company, Roz was simply trying to reiterate that we believe diverse and inclusive teams make for a stronger business. That's all there is to it and I support that important ideal."
